Special Education Teacher
I graduated with my Master’s in Special Education from Georgia Southwestern State University in June 2018.
I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Special Education from Georgia Southwestern State University in May 2016.
I will be starting my third year at Sikeston High School at the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year. I teach multiple special education classes throughout the day.
I will be starting my sixth year of teaching at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year. I was previously a teacher at Tift County High School in Georgia.
I met my husband in 2008; we became engaged in 2011 and were married in 2013. We moved to Sikeston from Georgia in 2019 for my husband’s work. We have two children together: Emma (7) and Ryleigh (2). Emma will be starting 2nd grade this year at Wing Elemetary. We also have two dogs and one cat.
Whenever I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family (cliche, but true). I am a homebody at heart, so there’s no place I’d rather be. You may also find me at Target!
