Special Education Teacher
I graduated with my Master’s in Special Education from Georgia Southwestern State University in June 2018.
I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Special Education from Georgia Southwestern State University in May 2016.
I will be starting my fourth year at Sikeston High School at the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year. I teach multiple special education classes throughout the day.
I will be starting my 7th year of teaching at the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year. I was previously a teacher at Tift County High School in Georgia.
I met my husband in 2008; we became engaged in 2011 and were married in 2013. We moved to Sikeston from Georgia in 2019 for my husband’s work. We have three children together: Emma (8), Ryleigh (3), and Grant (<1 year). Emma will be starting 3rd grade this year and Ryleigh will be in preschool. We also have three dogs and three cats.
Whenever I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family (cliche, but true). I am a homebody at heart, so there’s no place I’d rather be. You may also find me at Target!
