**Deadline: February 1, 2020. The Jackie Robinson Foundation. Must be a graduating, minority high school senior, plan to attend an accredited and approved four-year institution. You must show leadership potential, demonstrate a dedication to community service, financial need, and a composite ACT score of 21 or higher. Application is available at www.JackieRobinson.org.

**Deadline: February 1, 2020. James L. and Nellie M. Westlake Scholarship Program. Must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA, Missouri resident, demonstrate financial need and be a graduating senior. Go online to https://www.scholarsapply.org/westlake/.

**Deadline: February 7, 2020. Dr. Darrell “Jack” Holley/MUSIC Scholarship. Six $2000 scholarships will be awarded to students who graduate in 2019. Open to all high school seniors but only ONE application will be sent in from Sikeston High School. The application can be found outside the counselor’s office. Turn application in to Mrs. Thornbrough’s office. **Deadline: February 14, 2020. Missouri Corn Growers Association and Corn Merchandising Council. For high school seniors and college juniors. Applicants must be Missouri residents from a Missouri farm or rural area. You must be pursuing a degree in agronomy or a related agriculture field. **Deadline: February 15, 2020 . VFW Auxiliary Continuing Education Scholarship. For students who wish to pursue a college degree or career direction at a vocation/technical school. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office.

**Deadline: February 15, 2020 . Evergy/Haines-Weber Community Scholarships . A minimum of 15 scholarships is awarded yearly in the amount of $2000 renewable for up to 4 years. Award based on ACT 20, 3.0 GPA, volunteer work, community service project, leadership within your community, financial need, and a personal interview. Strong consideration will be given to students interested in business, finance, accounting, engineering, human resources, computer technology, communications/marketing or other similar career fields. **Deadline: February 19, 2020. Scholarships for Survivors. This is a group of scholarships for current patients or survivors of cancer or another life-threatening disease, 2 recommendations, transcripts needed, and essay. Application can be found at http://www.patientadvocate.org/index.php?p=69.

**Deadline: February 21, 2020 . Highway Hero Honoree Scholarship. For seniors graduating in 2020. The Division 10 Highway Employees’ Credit Union is awarding three $10,000 scholarship to eligible Division 10 members. Qualified applicants meet the following criteria: A member of the Division 10 Highway Employees’ Credit Union and a current high school senior. **Deadline: March 1, 2020 . 2020 Evergy/Haines-Weber Craft Scholarships. A minimum of 9 craft scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $3000, renewable for up to 2 years. Award based on personal interview and/or job shadow, however, minimum ACT of 18 and 2.5 GPA, career aspirations,

**Deadline: March 1, 2020 Project 21 Essay/Poster/Video Scholarship. There are 6 scholarships available by completing this scholarship application. If you choose to participate in this scholarship, there is a requirement of doing something for each between 12/1 and 2/15. Applications are available outside
the counselor’s office.

**Deadline: March 1, 2020 . American Chemical Society Scholarship. Minimum 3.0 GPA, Must be African-American, Hispanic/Latino or native American students only, demonstrate financial need, majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or chemically-related science. Apply online

**Deadline: March 1, 2020 . Missouri STEM Signing Day Scholarship. 10 recipients of a $1000 scholarship will be given out. For seniors who are planning to go to a 2 year, 4, year or technical school in the Fall of 2020. Applications will be evaluated on the basis of passion for STEM learning, advancing society
through STEM, high school activity involvement and scholarship. Apply online at: https://mochamber.com/signingday/ .

**Deadline: March 1, 2020. Bloom Therapy Services, LLC Scholarship . For Sikeston High School seniors who are pursuing a career in one of the following areas: Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Music Therapy, Education of the Visually Impaired, or Orientation & Mobility.
Student must have 25 on the ACT and a 3.5 GPA. Award is $500. The application can be found outside the counselor’s office.

**Deadline: March 1, 2020 . DevTeam.Space STEM Scholarship . $1000 scholarship, In order to apply for the spring 2020scholarship, applicants must submit a 500+ word essay on the following topic: “How STEM careers Will Affect The World Over The Next 50 Years?” Go to the following website: https://www.devteam.space/scholarship/ .

**Deadline: March 2, 2020 . MAMIC Scholarship . The Missouri Association of Mutual Insurance Companies is awarding eight $1000 scholarships to Missouri high school seniors. Applicant must be accepted by an accredited college, university, community college or vocational school within the state of Missouri. Consideration will be given to need, grades, activities, and essay. Applications are available online at: https://www.mamic.net/mamic-scholarship/ .

**Deadline: March 4, 2020 . Bob Depro Scholarship. For SHS seniors who will be enrolled full time in a college or university. Applicants must be of good moral character, have a need for financial assistance, have completed a minimum of 50 service hours and have demonstrated scholastic ability. Applications can be found outside the counselor’s office.

**Deadline: March 4, 2020 . Southeast Missouri Superintendents Association Scholarship Application. Award is $750. For high school seniors enrolled in a school district that is a member of the Southeast Missouri Superintendents Association. Must be planning to enroll in an undergraduate program for the
upcoming fall semester as a first year freshman. Must intend to teach K-12 upon completion of an undergraduate program. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office or a fillable application can be found on google classroom.

**Deadline: March 6, 2020. 2020 Missouri Bankers Foundation Scholarship . The applicant must be planning on a major in an area that will lead to a career in banking. **Deadline: March 12, 2020 . Midwest Affordable Housing Educational Opportunities . They are providing five $3000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors residing in Affordable Housing Developments or Public Housing Authorities and plan to attend a community college, a four year college/university or
qualified vocational/technical school. Must have a 2.75 GPA. Applications can be found outside the counselor’s office.

**Deadline: March 13, 2020 . MFA Foundation Scholarship . Applicant’s interest in furthering his/her education by engaging in studies relating to agriculture or other fields of study that benefit rural life; applicant’s reputation for good citizenship and good moral character; leadership in school, church or community activities; financial need, sources of income and willingness to work and satisfactory academic progress. Applications are located outside the counselor’s office.

**Deadline: March 15, 2020 . The Masonic Scholarship Fund of Missouri, Inc . One application for 3 separate scholarships. The application is located outside the counselor’s office.
a. Masonic Merit Scholarship A $1,000/year scholarship available to students in any degree program.
b. Ruth Lutes Bachmann Scholarship A $1,000/year scholarship for students seeking a degree in the education or healthcare fields.
c. Samuel Smith Stewart Masonic Scholarship A $10,000/year scholarship available to students in any degree program.

**Deadline: March 15, 2020 . Shell Oil Company Technical Scholarship . Must be a graduating high school senior enrolling in geology, geophysics, physics, chemical, civil, electrical, geological, geophysical, mechanical or petroleum engineering . Upon successful completion of first year studies and other criteria established by Shell, the recipient may be eligible to apply to receive a four-year renewable award of $5,000 annually. **Deadline: March 15, 2020 . Charles E. Kruse Agricultural Scholarship . Applicants must be Missouri residents and they, their parents, or guardians must hold a current Farm Bureau membership in Missouri. Student must be declaring a major in the agriculture field. Applications are available outside

**Deadline: March 16, 2020 . MOACAC Braxton Rethwisch Scholarship . The Missouri Association for College Admission Counseling (MOACAC) offers this scholarship to high school seniors who have a 2.5 GPA or higher and must be enrolled as a full-time student at a MOACAC member postsecondary institutions. **Deadline: March 27, 2020 . Sikeston Bulldog Booster Club Scholarship . Must be accepted at a college or junior college and participate in high school sport or activity. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office and it is fillable.

**Deadline: March 27, 2020 . Kiwanis Club of Sikeston, Missouri. For a Sikeston High School senior who will be enrolled full time in a college or university. The scholarship is granted based upon financial need and scholastic ability. Applications are outside the counselor’s office and it is fillable.

**Deadline: March 27, 2020. H. Garwood Sharp, Jr. and Ruth Felker Sharp Scholarship. To provide assistance to a SHS seniors desiring to attend a college, university, or technical school. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office and it is fillable.

**Deadline: March 27, 2020 . Paul and Regina Meyer Scholarship Trust . For Sikeston High School graduates who will be enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate program at any accredited college or university in Missouri. Scholarships will be awarded with preference to financial need then scholastic
ability. The recipient must be of good moral character. Recipients must maintain a 2.0 GPA. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office and it is fillable.

**Deadline: March 27, 2020. Joseph J. Mayer Education Trust . For Sikeston High School seniors who plan to attend a college or technical school. Applicants must have a 2.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need, good character, talents and test scores. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office or it is a
fillable application on your ipad.

**Deadline: March 27, 2020 . Imogene Ruth Albritton Mayer Education Trust . For Sikeston High School seniors who plan to attend a college or technical school in Missouri. Applicants must have a 2.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need, good character, talents and test scores. Applications are available outside
the counselor’s office or it is a fillable application on your ipad.

**Deadline: March 27, 2020. Mary Margaret Story Yarbrough Memorial Scholarship . Must be a graduating senior girl at SHS, must have participated in school sports, be a good citizen, and have a B average. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office and it is fillable.

**Deadline: March 27, 2020 . Matt Barnes Memorial Scholarship . For students accepted for enrollment and who will be in regular full-time attendance at a public college or university. Award is $500. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office and it is fillable.

**Deadline: March 27, 2020 . Bruce Hampton Memorial Scholarship . For students accepted for enrollment and who will be in regular full-time attendance at a public college or university located in the state of Missouri. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office and it is fillable.

**Deadline: March 27, 2020 . Three Rivers College Scholarship. This award is for a Sikeston High School Senior who will graduate in 2020 and plans to attend Three Rivers College in the fall of 2020. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office.

**Deadline: March 27, 2020 . Friends of the Program . Applicant must be a graduating senior with at least a 2.0 GPA, must be an athlete, or member of an athletic team, must be accepted by or enrolled full time in a college or university, display good character. A character reference letter is needed. Financial need will be considered. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office and it is fillable.

**Deadline: March 27, 2020. Sikeston Community Teachers Association . Applicants must be a SHS Senior who plans to major in Education, must have 3.0 GPA or higher, supply an ACT score, and good character. Applications are located outside the counselor’s office and it is also fillable.

**Deadline: March 29, 2020 . Daughters of Sunset Scholarship . Must be a Sikeston High School senior who has been accepted/enrolled in a college/university, must enroll as a full time student with 12 hours or more, and must maintain a 2.5 GPA.. Applications are located outside the counselor’s office and it is fillable.

**Deadline: March 31, 2020 . Dove Academic Scholarship . For seniors who will be graduating in 2020. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Psi Eta Zeta (PEZ) Graduate Chapter are awarding scholarships to seniors who have a minimum 3.0 GPA and at least 20 hours of community service. The application can be found
outside the counselor’s office or on google classroom.

**Deadline: March 31, 2020 . Missouri Insurance Education Foundation Scholarship for High School Seniors. Applicant must be a Missouri resident, graduating high school seniors interested in or intending to pursue an insurance, risk management or actuarial science course of study in a Missouri college or

**Deadline: March 31, 2020 . Sikeston R-6 Grow Your Own Teacher “Murray Sullivan Scholarship . (2) $500 renewable scholarships. Requirements to apply: must be a SHS senior, must be a member of the Grow Your Own Teacher program, must be planning to enroll in an undergraduate program for the
upcoming fall semester and major in education, and must intend to teach pre-K through 12 upon completion of an undergraduate program. The application can be found on the GYOT google classroom.

**Deadline: March 31, 2020 . Lighthouse Guild Scholarship Program. For college bound high school and graduate students who are legally blind. Apply online at lighthouseguild.org/scholarships .

**Deadline: April 1, 2020 . Patriot Guard Riders of Missouri . 4 scholarships to Missouri students who are sons or daughters of those who fall into the following categories: those who have given their lives in the line of duty, incuding both military and first responder, those honorably discharged veterans who have
passed after their term of service, or veterans or first responders disabled in the line of duty to the extent that providing an advanced education cannot be easily realized. Award amount is $2000 and 3 awards in the amount of $1000 each. Applications can be found outside the counselor’s office.

**Deadline: April 1, 2020 . Bob Tietz Golf Scholarship. Amount: $1000. The Bob Tietz Scholarship was established to award a scholarship to a high school senior (male or female) who has played on the high school golf team for at least 2 years and is pursuing a college education. Applicants must 1. be a senior
accepted into an accredited college/university; 2. have a 2.5 GPA; 3. have played a minimum of 2 years on a high school golf team; 4. submit a 250-word essay; 5. provide 2 letters of recommendation; 6. submit high school transcript; and 7. demonstrate good moral character. **Deadline: April 1, 2020 . Scott County Farm Bureau Scholarship . For seniors who plan to study agriculture or other trades and professions necessary to the rural community. Amount is $500. Application is available outside the counselor’s office.

**Deadline: April 2, 2020 . Walmart Dependent Scholarship. For students who are dependent of Wal-Mart employees, minimum 2.0 GPA. Apply online at http://programs.applyists.com/walmartdependent/ .

**Deadline: April 3, 2020 . Lions Club of Sikeston, Missouri Frank Ferrell Memorial Scholarship. The Sikeston Lions Frank Ferrell Memorial Scholarship is presented annually to a SHS graduating senior who will be enrolled full time in a college or university. The scholarship is granted based on financial need
and scholastic ability. Application is available outside the counselor’s office and it is fillable.

**Deadline: April 3, 2020 . American Legion Shane Dean Voyles Memorial Scholarship . Award is based on athletic, scholastic and leadership abilities. The nominee should be deeply involved in community and school activities. Must be a descendent of a veteran having served 90 days on active duty in the Army,
Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard. Only one student from our high school can be selected. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office.

**Deadline: April 15, 2020 . rootED Undergraduate Scholarship . Application opens January 1st. 9 awards will be given out for students graduating from 14 high schools in our area. Award is $10,000 annually. Students must be planning to enroll in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited, nonprofit college

**Deadline: April 15, 2020 . Legacy Scholarship . To qualify and apply, you must be a current high school senior and/or accepted at or attending an institution of higher education. You must also answer YES to the following 2 statements: a legal parent died while serving on active duty on or after 9/11/01 or a legal parent is a Post-9/11 veteran of the U.S. military who has been given a disability rating of 50% of higher by the Veterans Administration. **Deadline: April 20, 2020. American Legion Charles L. Bacon Memorial Scholarship . Must be a member of the American Legion Family, i.e., Legion Member, Auxiliary member, S.A.L. Member, or a descendant or any member thereof. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office.

**Deadline: April 20, 2020 . American Legion Erman W. Taylor Memorial Scholarship . Must be planning on majoring in education. Must be the descendent of a veteran having served 90 days on active duty in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard of the U.S. Applications are available outside the

**Deadline: April 20. 2020 . American Legion Joseph J. Frank Scholarship . Must have attended a full session of Missouri Boys/Girls State, must be the descendent of a veteran having served 90 days on active duty in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard of the U.S. Applications are
available outside the counselor’s office.

**Deadline: April 20, 2020 . American Legion Lillie Lois Ford Scholarship Fund . Must have attended Missouri Boys or Girls State or Missouri Cadet Patrol Academy. Must be the descendent of a veteran having served 90 days on active duty in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard of the
U.S. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office.

**Deadline: April 20, 2020 . American Legion M.D. Jack Murphy Memorial Nurses Training Fund . Must be planning on a career as a Registered Nurse and must have graduated in the top forty percent of their high school class. Must be a descendent of a veteran having served 90 days on active duty in the Army,
Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office.

**Deadline: April 22, 2020 . 2020 Student-View Scholarship Program . $11,000 in scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four year college, community/junior college or career school. Simply log on to www.student-view.com and complete a 15-20 minute application survey about colleges in your
area.
