SEPTEMBER Scholarships

  1. Deadline: September 15, 2023. The Gates Scholarship. Must be a high school senior from at least one of the following ethnicities: African American, Asian/Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic, pell eligible, and cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3.   2. Deadline: September 26, 2023. Questbridge. Top 5-10% of class, ACT> 28, and household earns <$65,000 annually. Apply online at www.questbridge.org

  4. Deadline: September 30, 2023. $2500 College Raptor Scholarship. To enter this contest, each student conducts a college search on CollegeRaptor.com that is designed to present college options that match the student’s individual academic cultural, and financial circumstances in addition to exploring the true cost of their education. OCTOBER Scholarships

  1. Deadline: October 2, 2023. Coca Cola Scholars Program.  For high school seniors, this award recognizes students’ ability to lead and serve, and their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. Apply online at www.coca-cola scholars foundation.org.

  2. Deadline: October 13, 2023. Missouri’s Cattlemen Foundation Scholarship. Members (student or parent) of Cattlemen’s Association. Apply online at https://www.mocattle.org/missouris-cattlemen-foundation/scholarship-program

  3. Deadline:October 17, 2023- Heisman High School Scholarship. The program recognizes and rewards high school seniors who accomplish tremendous feats in the classroom, on the field, and most importantly, within their communities.   4. Deadline: October 31, 2023. Voice of Democracy. NOVEMBER Scholarships

  1. Deadline: November 2, 2023. Prudential Emerging Visionaries Scholarship. For students in grades 5-12 who have made meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service. Applications are available at https://www.prudential.com/links/about/emergingvisionaries.

  2. Deadline November 13, 2023. Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship. The Elks National Foundation will award 500 four year scholarships to the highest rated applicants in the 2024 competition.   3. Deadline: November 16, 2023. Jack Kent Cooke Foundation. Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA or above.. The applicant must demonstrate unmet financial need. They consider applicants with family income up to $95,000, however, the majority of the recipients will be eligible to receive a Pell Grant.   4. LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP: Deadline: November 30, 2023. Kiwanis-Earl Collins Foundation Scholarship. For high school seniors that are active members of the Sikeston High School Key Club. .This award is $1000. Applications are outside the counselor’s office. 

  5. Deadline: November 30, 2023. Dr. Juan Andrade Jr. Scholarship. Applicants must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as full-time undergraduate students, in an accredited four-year or two-year institution in the U.S. or U.S. territories, and demonstrate a verifiable need for financial support. At least one parent must be of Hispanic ancestry. Non-U.S. citizens are eligible to apply (DACA or Undocumented). December Scholarships

  1. December 1, 2023. Ron Brown Scholar Program. For academically talented, highly motivated African American students who are seniors in high school who plan to pursue undergraduate degrees full-time. Award is $10,000 annually. For more information go to www.ronbrown.org

  2. Deadline: December 1, 2023. The Hagan Scholarship. For high school students in need of financial assistance in order to attend college. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.75 or higher. There are several other requirements listed, please go to their website: www.hsfmo.org to find the application and for more information.

  3. Deadline: December 4, 2023. National Space Club Scholarship. The applicant must have the intention of pursuing a career in the STEM fields and plan to attend an accredited U.S. college or university to follow a course of study to pursue a career in the STEM field, with a preference for those with space related interests.The applicant can only use the $10,000.00 scholarship towards tuition for the 2023-24 academic year.   4. Deadline: December 15, 2023. North American Van Lines Logistics Scholarship. For students who are enrolled or enrolling as a full time student of an accredited college/university within the U.S. for completion of an undergraduate degree in Logistics or equivalent field. 3- $1000 awards.
