Deadline: March 1, 2023. FCS Financial Scholarship. For Missouri high school seniors whose parents or grandparents are customers of FCS Financial. More information and the application can be found online at www.myfcsfinancial.com and then click on the About US at the top of the web page.
Deadline: March 1, 2023. Women Legislators of Missouri Scholarship. For female students who are planning to attend college, this scholarship is based on leadership, academics and community service. A 500 work essay is required answering the question, ‘If you were a state legislator, what would you hope to accomplish and why?” A link to download the scholarship is located online at My Scholarship Central or go to: http://bit.ly/molegwomen.
Deadline: March 1, 2023. Southeast Missouri Superintendents Association Scholarship Application. Award is $750. For high school seniors enrolled in a school district that is a member of the Southeast Missouri Superintendents Association. Must be planning to enroll in an undergraduate program for the upcoming fall semester as a first year freshman. Must intend to teach K-12 upon completion of an undergraduate program. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office.
Deadline: March 1, 2023. The Masonic Scholarship Fund of Missouri, Inc. One application for 3 separate scholarships. The application is located outside the counselor’s office or online at http://momason.org/scholarships/
Masonic Merit Scholarship A $1,000/year scholarship available to students in any degree program.
Ruth Lutes Bachmann Scholarship A $1,000/year scholarship for students seeking a degree in the education or healthcare fields.
Samuel Smith Stewart Masonic Scholarship A $10,000/year scholarship available to students in any degree program.
Deadline: March 3, 2023. The Belinda G. Parks Family Foundation Scholarship. For senior girls at SHS who have participated in school activities, and must have a B average. Applications are outside the counselor’s office.
Deadline: March 3, 2023. Mary Margaret Story Yarbrough Memorial Scholarship. Must be a graduating senior girl at SHS, must have participated in school sports, be a good citizen, and have a B average. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office and it is fillable.
Deadline: March 3, 2023. Karen Akins Memorial Scholarship. For seniors who are planning to pursue a degree in Education, must have 3.0 GPA or higher. Applications are outside the counselor's office.
Deadline: March 3, 2023. Kiwanis Club of Sikeston, Missouri. For a Sikeston High School senior who will be enrolled full time in a college or university. The scholarship is granted based upon financial need and scholastic ability. Applications are outside the counselor’s office and it is fillable.
Deadline: March 3, 2023. 2023 Missouri Bankers Foundation Scholarship. The applicant must be planning on a major in an area that will lead to a career in banking. Deadline: March 5, 2023. MOACAC Braxton Rethwisch Scholarship. The Missouri Association for College Admission Counseling (MOACAC) offers this scholarship to high school seniors who have a 2.5 GPA or higher and must be enrolled as a full-time student at a MOACAC member postsecondary institutions. Deadline: March 8, 2023. Bob Depro Scholarship. For SHS seniors who will be enrolled full time in an accredited college,university, or technical school. Applicants must be of good moral character, have a need for financial assistance, have completed a minimum of 50 service hours and have demonstrated scholastic ability. Deadline: March 9, 2023. Scholarships for Survivors. This is a group of scholarships for current patients or survivors of cancer or another life-threatening disease, 2 recommendations, transcripts needed, and an essay. Application can be found at http://www.patientadvocate.org/index.php?p=69.
Deadline: March 11, 2023. Missouri Women’s Golf Education Association Scholarship. Open to all female Missouri residents. Scholarships are given in recognition of her overall academic record, community service activities, leadership, and golf experience. Deadline: March 12, 2023. Jerald L. Andrews Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship. Award is $5000, GPA of 2.5 or above, for students attending a Missouri 2 or 4 year accredited college or university, and demonstrate financial need. Deadline: March 15, 2023. Bill Ruby, Sr. Heartland Wrestling Scholarship. For seniors who have competed on the high school wrestling team for 4 years and served a role with the Sikeston Wrestling Club. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office.
Deadline: March 15, 2023. Farm Credit SEMO Scholarship. Farm Credit SEMO is now offering $1000 scholarships to high school graduates who plan to major and pursue a career in agriculture. Deadline: March 15, 2023. MAMIC Scholarship. The Missouri Association of Mutual Insurance Companies is awarding 24-$1000 scholarships to Missouri high school seniors. Applicant must be accepted by an accredited college, university, community college or vocational school within the state of Missouri. Deadline: March 15, 2023. Charles E. Kruse Agricultural Scholarship. Applicants must be Missouri residents and they, their parents, or guardians must hold a current Farm Bureau membership in Missouri. Student must be declaring a major in the agriculture field. Deadline: March 15, 2023. Shell Oil Company Technical Scholarship. Must be a graduating high school senior enrolling in geology, geophysics, physics, chemical, civil, electrical, geological, geophysical, mechanical or petroleum engineering. Upon successful completion of first year studies and other criteria established by Shell, the recipient may be eligible to apply to receive a four-year renewable award of $5,000 annually. Deadline: March 27, 2023. The Bridging the Dream Scholarship for High School Seniors. The Sallie Mae Fund will award (75) $10,000 scholarships to high school seniors who plan to enroll in a two- or four-year degree professional certificate, or vocational training program. Seniors who excel inside and outside of the classroom and demonstrate financial need can apply now through March 8 at www.salliemae.com/landing/bridging-the-dream.
Deadline: March 31, 2023. National Stars and Stripes Museum/Library Scholarship. Applicants must be a high school senior, must have plans to study history, journalism, or a related field at an accredited college or university during the 2023-2024 school year, and must have a 2.5 GPA or higher. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office.
Deadline: March 31, 2023. Sikeston R-6 Grow Your Own Teacher “Murray Sullivan Scholarship” . 2) $500 renewable scholarships. Requirements to apply: Must be a Sikeston High School senior, Must be a member of the Grow Your Own Teachers program, Must be planning to enroll full time in an undergraduate program for the upcoming fall semester and major in education, and Must intend to teach pre-k through 12 upon completion of an undergraduate program. Deadline: March 31, 2023. Justin Shephard Memorial Scholarship. Scholarship is $1000. Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and planning to attend a 2 or 4 years accredited college, university or technical school. Applications are located outside the counselor’s office.

Deadline: March 31, 2023. SHS FCA Scholarship. For students who have been actively involved with FCA and attend at least 50% of the monthly meetings (two times a month). In addition, students must agree to uphold the values and beliefs associated with FCA. Applications are available outside the counselors office.

Deadline: April 1, 2023. Sikeston Elks Lodge #2319 Scholarship. This application is for seniors. Application is available outside the counselor’s office. Application must be received/dropped off at the Elk’s Lodge by April 1, 2023.
Deadline: April 3, 2023. American Legion Shane Dean Voyles Memorial Scholarship. Award is based on athletic, scholastic and leadership abilities. The nominee should be deeply involved in community and school activities. Must be a descendent of a veteran having served 90 days on active duty in the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard. Only one student from our high school can be selected. Applications are available outside the counselor’s office.
Deadline: April 5, 2023. Allegra Ford Thomas Scholarship. The Allegra Ford Thomas Scholarship is a one-time $2,500 scholarship awarded to a graduating high school senior with a documented learning disability (LD) and/or ADHD who will be enrolled in a two-year community college, a vocational or technical training program, or a specialized program for students with LD and/or ADHD in the fall. Deadline: April 5, 2023. Anne Ford Scholarship. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and a documentation of an identified learning disability and ADHD. Must be planning on a career as a Registered Nurse and must have graduated in the top forty percent of their high school class. Deadline: May 1, 2023. Scott County Farm Bureau Scholarship. For seniors to use for tuition, fees, book supplies, and equipment required for the course(s) of agricultural pursuits or other trades and professions necessary to the rural community. Application is outside the counselor’s office.
Deadline: May 1, 2023. ESS Foundation Scholarship. Award is $1500. For those applying or currently attending college, graduate school, or a skilled trade school (vocational or technical). Applicant is pursuing a career in the construction industry.
