From 1989 to 1999 I worked for USDA-APHIS-PPQ as a supervisor compliance officer, and Entomologist in Miami,Fl., Fort Lauderdale, Fl., Central and Southern, Georgia, and Tupelo, Mississippi.
From 2000 to present I have taught at Sikeston Public Schools
I have been married for 27 years, and we have three wonderful children. Our two sons and daughter attends SEMO
I have two pets, an African Grey parrot named Stonewall, and a cat that I call Shadow (its follows me everywhere in the yard.
If you ask anyone in the Sikeston area that knows me they will tell you “I eat,drink, sleep, and live for history”.
I have published three books titled “Struggle for Sikeston”, “Tennessee Blitz”, and “Snakes in Grey, Serpents in Blue”
I have several hobbies, I have been reenacting for over 30 years, with a role as an extra in “God’s and General’s, and “Many Faces of War”. I love building models, and going to international competitions with my models. I love to fish and hunt, hunting for gemstones, and precious metals, and my newist hobby is flintknapping.
