A variety of approaches and techniques to drawing will be explored.  A variety of media will be used such as pencil, colored pencil, charcoal, pen and ink and markers. The student will gain knowledge in areas of: portraits, figure drawing, still life, botanical, landscape/seascape, contour drawing, perspective drawing, and illustration (advertising). Art history along with current working artists will be explored.
