This is my third year at Sikeston High School. I am so excited to be working for such a great district! I teach Spanish I and II.
I have a great variety of teaching experiences! In the winter of 2013 I taught English in Liberia, Costa Rica at a small English institute. I was an interim Spanish teacher at Salem Community HS for the fall 2014 semester. I substituted at various schools full-time throughout southern IL and southeast MO in 2015 and 2017. I was then a junior high teacher’s assistant at Central Academy (alternative school) in Cape Girardeau for the spring 2018 semester.
My travel experiences include:
- Semester abroad in Spain
- 2 week excursion class in Spain
- High school excursion to Costa Rica (2 weeks)

I am recently engaged! We enjoy spending time with our chocolate lab, Sophia. No kids yet!
I enjoy cooking (mainly baking), taking my dog to the park for walks, spending time with my family, and catching up on the latest in language teaching!
