Math 2 is a pre-algebra course that addresses skills necessary for a student to master prior to taking algebra 1a. Topics covered will be integers, integer operations, solving equations using all operations, with at least one variable, concepts related to geometry, and measures of central tendancy.
Math 3 is an equivalent to Algebra 1a. Topics for Math 3 will include applying integer operations to solving multi-step equations, rules for exponents, slope, slope-intercept, and somequadratics.
Math 4 is a consumer math course that addresses skills/concepts that are necessary for life skills. Topics covered will be understanding gross and net pay, paychecks, as well as consumer topics of taxes, percentages, fractions, and ratios.
